Introduction to ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems (QMS)

o Overview of ISO 9001:2015 standard and its structure o Key principles of Quality Management (customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, process approach, improvement) o Benefits of ISO 9001 certification for organizations o Understanding the relationship between ISO 9001 and other management standards.

Planning an ISO 9001 Audit

o Defining the audit scope, objectives, and criteria o Developing an audit plan and audit schedule o Selecting and preparing the audit team o Identifying key processes and areas to focus on during the audit.

Conducting an ISO 9001 Audit

o Understanding the audit phases: opening meeting, audit execution, closing meeting o Techniques for interviewing staff and gathering evidence o Assessing conformity with ISO 9001 requirements and identifying non-conformities o Documenting findings and making observations during the audit.

Evaluating QMS Effectiveness and Compliance

o Assessing the alignment of processes with ISO 9001 requirements o Reviewing documented information and records to ensure compliance o Verifying the implementation of corrective and preventive actions o Evaluating the organization's continuous improvement initiatives.

Reporting Audit Findings and Non-Conformities

o Writing clear, accurate, and objective audit reports o Categorizing non-conformities: minor, major, or critical o Providing recommendations for corrective actions and improvements o Presenting audit findings in the closing meeting with senior management.

Audit Follow-Up and Continual Improvement

o Managing the follow-up process to verify corrective actions are implemented o Conducting surveillance audits and internal audits o Assessing the effectiveness of corrective actions and closure of non-conformities o Promoting a culture of continual improvement through audits.
